Music's influence has been felt throughout human history. But never has it's impact been so compelling as when combined with persuasive video technology. For better and worse, this new form of communication has, is and will continue to leave an indelible mark on society.
Utilizing this potential, God Blog's compiled a few selected videos that capture important aspects of the human condition. A form of modern psalms, music videos happily or hauntingly tell the tale of our aspirations and temptations. Like a thousand singing mirrors on society, they at once reflect and shape our baser and better cultural instincts. Without question, their lyrics, melody and images reveal aspects of an eternal drama we do well to contemplate more deeply.

- Keith Green: Perhaps the most influential Christian artist of 20th Century, Keith Green's Last Day's Music and Message are as timeless as they are troubling. He was and is Christ's singing prophet calling modern Christianity to repentance and renewal.
- Jars of Clay: True to their name, for the better part of two decades Jars of Clay has been producing and performing recordings embracing both the hope and sorrow of inherent in human life. Noting the importance of brokenness, their lyrics and music video content tell the tale of Christians yearning to push through the silence and distance of God, while more often than not still struggling with tough issues such as morality, temptation and sanctification. Their release, "Two Hands" upbeat ballad laments: "I use one hand to draw You closer, the other to push You away. If I had two hands, doing the same thing..."
- Creed: More impressively than any famous crossover band, Creed communicates the message that mankind's broken faith with God. Popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band disbanded in 2004 after three multi-platinum albums, selling 26 million records in the United States and an estimated 40 million records worldwide.
- Third Day: Christianity's all about bridging the gap between a loving holy Creator and we His fallen creation. With a raspy street beat, Third Day proclaims God's love, mercy and faithfulness found in the atonement purchased by Christ.
- Thrice: A well known hard hitting rock band of unusual depth and perception, the music of Thrice cuts a wide path. From 2002 their studio albums made the charts in the US and UK. Thrice's Alchemy Index Volumes 1-4 charted number 1 in the US Indie genre. Generous, Thrice donates a portion of it's proceeds from each of their sales to different charities.
